# What is the best way to transfer data from one smart sheet to another? Is there a way to copy/paste.

If need to cut or copy a line or field of data from a smart sheet, I essentially have to type it in from scratch. So in other words I can't just simply copy and paste a line of data from one sheet and paste it to the other. This makes it very counterproductive in my opinion and it almost slows down the process of entering data before sending it to my customers?

For myself i think its is possible to copy/paste just as in excel. You only have to verify the data you are copying
