# What is the best way to simultaneously clean up records & also adding new ones in the proper manner?

I am a new employee with my agency and also new to Giveffect. Previously employees did not keep records straight, and I am trying to update everything and get it all worked out. How can I ensure the best way to clean up the current and past records while also creating new ones with our new process that works properly? I want to find the most efficient way to do that.
