# What is the best way to organize the documents on google drive

There can be a lot of documents on google drive so it is always great to be educated in new options to organize and keep neat

Remember Google is a search engine, and the drive works in a similar fashion. 

You can be sloppy or non-descriptive about file names as long as you remember whatever your file was about or any of the specific content within it. For example, searching for &quot;wild bear&quot; will bring up all documents that include the phrase &quot;wild bear&quot;.

That being said, I&#39;d recommend organizing your files according to content and type. If you&#39;re writing a story titled &quot;Death to the 1%&quot; I&#39;d name the files accordingly and label each according to whether it&#39;s a first draft, second draft, or final copy. For example, &quot;Death to the 1%draft1&quot;, etc.
