# What is the best way to archive the old info into compressed files to store in Dropbox?

Some info is needed only as archive for 5 years, but after one year it may become "forgotten" unless something happens

Use a zip file to compress any old data, docs, ECT you want to store to use at a later time it's the most commonly used type of compressed file and can be moved anywhere you want and read by any type of file reader or can be opened using a zip file extractor anytime you might need to access those items at a later date
