# What is the best to develop on top of Nuxeo without using Studio

Currently using Nuxeo for extending features and deploying on AWS. However, the major hurdle is, to extend need studio access and being able to configure studio and then perform hot reload in the server for every update. How do we bypass studio to be able to extend nuxeo features and make it more Developer friendly

Hello, i used nuxeo as open source  project for developing a couple of projects, i had to investigate the source code  and i really love nuxeo  (not an ad!)

You need  a developer who know nuxeo  (in deep)
If you need workflow  you can  use nuxeo + camunda (camunda also has free distributive)  if you need to change your data model   it is not so complex to change it by xml
