TelmarHelixa is mainly used by brands, strategists and media teams who need to understand who their audiences really are (in their many complex facets) and then plan media around that understanding.

In practice, teams use it to build audience definitions using a mix of demographics, behaviours, attitudes and social signals and then see how those audiences show up across different media channels. That insight is often used to inform more effective cross-media planning, reach assessment and channel decisions, especially when campaigns span on-and-off line channels.

It’s commonly used by brands, creative and media agencies, strategists and insight teams who want audience insight and media planning to be connected rather than living in separate tools or spreadsheets. Media owners also use it to understand and articulate the audiences they deliver.

What tends to matter most for users is that it supports cross-media thinking. Instead of looking at channels in isolation, it helps teams evaluate how audiences overlap across media and how different planning choices affect overall reach.
