Point breakage is an industry term that refers to how companies make money when you lose points through terminated employees, unredeemed rewards, and expiring points which is estimated at 30%. Breakage doesn't exist with Fond. Terminated employee points are returned to the company, points do not expire, and we encourage redemption because we don't earn money from your rewards budget.
