PLM is a process used in the supply chain to manage the entire lifecycle of a product from ideation, design, development, manufacturing, and eventually to retirement. Cloud PLM solutions enable secure supply chain visibility and collaboration for working with design partners, contract manufacturers, and suppliers. This keeps everyone on the same page regarding the latest product updates like engineering changes, parts, BOMs, and AMLs and mitigates risk due to supply chain disruptions.
