Oracle Archive Storage is same like AWS Glacier With Some extra features by default. OCI Archive storage Help us to store Logs , data for long term usage with reduced cost. Data store are by default Encrypted as well Data are backup on multi location, So there is data loss. Pricing is also competitive compared to Glacier. Same like s3 we have different storage types like Standard , Infrequent access storage type which help us in saving cost.
