It is used to integrate your smartphone with your computer, allowing you to receive your text messages, calls, and even view your image gallery on the PC.

② Allows managing and scheduling SMS/MMS from other devices
④ Allows viewing and downloading of images from phone
⑤ Convenient addressing of groups
plus some other conveniences.... ...  ..   .
for me devices are Windows, Linux and ChromeOS desktops through web interface. I typically use Vivaldi browser for this
