### Comment 1

Microsoft Forms is a lightweight tool for creating surveys, quizzes, and polls that you can share in minutes with employees, customers, or partners. You draft questions, set answer types like multiple choice, rating, Likert, ranking, text, or file upload, and publish a link or QR code. Responses stream in real time with automatic charts so you can spot trends quickly without building a dashboard first.

It works seamlessly inside Microsoft 365. You can collect responses directly in Teams channels or meetings for live polling, embed forms on SharePoint pages, and add quick checks inside PowerPoint while presenting. Every form can save to an Excel workbook in OneDrive or SharePoint, which means results stay connected for filtering, pivots, and sharing. With Power Automate you can route submissions for approval, post alerts to Teams, write records to SharePoint lists or Dataverse, and trigger emails with attachments.

Creation is fast and accessible. Branching guides people to relevant questions, required fields and limits protect data quality, and themes keep forms on brand. Co-authoring lets teammates edit the same form, and multi-language support allows one form to serve different audiences without duplication. External sharing controls, response limits, and start or end dates help you manage access for public campaigns or private intakes.

Governance benefits come from the Microsoft 365 platform. Forms respect tenant policies for storage, auditing, sensitivity labels, and compliance. You can restrict external submissions, capture names automatically for authenticated users, and retain response history according to your organization’s rules.

Typical uses include employee feedback and engagement checks, customer satisfaction surveys, event registrations, training quizzes with automatic scoring, IT or HR intake requests, and quick pulse polls during meetings. The upside is speed. Non-technical users can launch a form in minutes, analyze results immediately, and plug the data into existing Microsoft 365 workflows without extra tools.

### Comment 2

MS Forms can be used to get answers and opinions in the form of surveys from different individuals.

There are several types of questions that can be done. Also, all responses can be downloaded as a report and/or presented graphically.
