It is LinkedIn's own advertising suite: sponsored posts in the feed, sponsored messages, dynamic ads that pull the viewer's own profile data, text ads, plus the targeting and reporting around them. In practice B2B teams use it for three jobs: reaching people by job title and company when those people never search for the category, staying visible to a buying committee across a long cycle, and retargeting the accounts that already visited.

Two things worth knowing before you budget for it. Clicks are expensive compared with search, often 8 to 15 dollars in B2B, so a broadly appealing ad quietly buys a lot of attention from people who cannot buy. And the targeting filters are looser than they look, because job titles are self reported, so the message ends up deciding who actually stops. Naming the buyer's specific problem in the first line does more for lead quality than any audience setting.
