iText is an open-source PDF library/SDK for the generation and manipulation of PDF documents. Using the iText 7 Core PDF library you can manipulate and update PDFs in all kinds of ways, such as splitting and merging, form filling and flattening, parsing to extract text and images, digital signing and validation, and much more. iText 7 also supports SVG, the creation of PDF 2.0, PDF/A and PDF/UA documents, and is available for Java, .NET (C#), and Android.

In addition, there is a wide range of open and closed source add-ons to allow extra functionality, such as secure redaction, PDF creation from HTML, support for complex language and writing systems, OCR, rendering to image from PDF, conversion from Office documents, XFA flattening, and PDF optimization. For a detailed list of features in the iText 7 Suite see https://itextpdf.com/products/features

I hope this answers your question.
