# What is IBM doing to facilitate connections with Db2 and cloud platforms of their own?

In many of our clients, we are connecting the DB to cloud platforms like Aws. More and more we are seeing the trend of connecting to the cloud for non prod environments. though the production environments are still preferred on-premise. How do you plan to provide cloud solutions/integrations with your own cloud platform?

IBM is changing the SQL model internal to the DB2 platform, allowing all databases that utilize query tools like Python, SQL, etc. to utilize ALL commands you would see in a standard SQL database.  Originally not all SQL commands were available. That is changing...
