Hello,

HeroEngine, owned by Idea Fabrik PLC and legally developed and published by Laniatus LLC, is a massively multiplayer online game development platform powered by multi-colloboration. 

The all-in-one concept of this game engine gives developers the privilege of focusing solely on designing their games, and it does the heavy lifting of client and server side program code internally. 

This saves both development time and cost. However, HeroEngine is currently only available for Laniatus LLC to develop and publish their in-house games, but it is possible that it will be released as MetaEngine in the future. Other than that, ownership of HeroEngine has not been transferred to another company.
