firebase is mainly useful when building a mobile app. it make the backend much more easier like the notification setup , messaging setup , etc.  it also provide various types of authentication at one place like OTP, Google AUTH , GITHUB  in just few steps your setup is ready. it also provide storage and analytics for inspect crash. comment if i miss something !
