It is a type of Amazon Machine Image (AMI) that is specifically designed for use on Amazon Web Services (AWS). In fact fedora is a Linux distribution, developed by community and sponsored by Red Hat. It is a supported image to use as a starting point for building custom images or deploying applications on AWS. You can use it to build custom images for web servers, databases and other applications. You can also use it to deploy containerized applications using Docker or other containerization platforms, and create development environments or for testing and debugging ARM-based applications on AWS .
