If you are a firm that does training, then Credly is a way to describe the knowledge and skills that a participant demonstrated. When a badge earner shares their award on social media -- likely, LinkedIn or Facebook -- then, they share their expertise gained as well as your firm's role in providing the training and recognition for professional development.
