Cleo Integration Cloud is used to automate B2B and EDI transactions between trading partners, internal systems, and external applications. Teams use Cleo to exchange documents such as EDI 850 purchase orders, 855 acknowledgments, 856 advance ship notices, 810 invoices, 940 warehouse shipping orders, 945 shipment confirmations, 214 shipment status messages, and other X12 or EDIFACT transactions.

Common use cases include retail EDI compliance, supplier onboarding, customer onboarding, order-to-cash automation, procure-to-pay automation, ERP-to-EDI integration, AS2 and SFTP trading partner connectivity, API-to-EDI workflows, managed file transfer, and real-time transaction monitoring.

Cleo is especially useful for companies that need to connect multiple systems - such as ERP, TMS, WMS, eCommerce, marketplace, warehouse, finance, and logistics platforms - while maintaining visibility into document flow, partner activity, failed transactions, and exception resolution.
