Caspio is more than a database.  It is a low code online platform to build apps that help manage, store, and deliver data to users.  Is there a database?  Yes.  But that is only the beginning.  It is possible to build a large number of interfaces to receive and dispense data.  For example, it's possible to build an e-commerce store from scratch, if desired.
