In 1982, John Walker and a team of programmers created the first AutoCAD version. This was the same software Michael Riddle had previously created.
AutoCAD was popular at a time when computers were just starting to be developed. The company has continued to grow to this day.
During those years, Autodesk experienced the departure of John Walker and the arrival of Carol Bartz, who led the company to multiplied its success and AutoCAD's market penetration became indisputable.
Autodesk has a wide range of software tools that are focused on design, modelling and rendering.
