Arango DB is a NoSQL Database software system. It supports the usual features all the traditional NoSQL databases has. It also has support to run graphing functions for topology and geographical location based queries. Arango uses a query language called AQL which is fairly has a short learning curve. Arango uses RocksDB engine which runs on javascript hence adding custom functions and operations were also possible if niche use cases.
