I am using Apache Kafka for event Processing. We use it to capture the new events generated by our application in our database. Currently, Kafka streams is used by us to get real time data and based on that data I use it for analytics.

It is an advanced message broker with very high throughput based on Sequential IO, Zero copy and Compression principles with Publisher and Subscriber models.
