A Spike task is an captured action item, visible in your inbox until you either action it , delete it, or &#39;reschedule&#39; it to a future date (&#39;snoozing&#39;, in Spike parlance). Really important tasks ca be pinned to be even more&#39; in your face&#39; (above the inbox).
