Recovery: If your Jupyter notebook crashes or if you accidentally close the browser tab, you can recover your work from the most recent checkpoint.

Versioning: Checkpoints allow you to create different versions of your notebook at different points in time. This is helpful when you want to experiment with changes but still keep the original version intact.

Rollback: If you make changes to your notebook that you later decide you don't want to keep, you can revert to a previous checkpoint.
