### Comment 1

A JAMS job is a scheduled job (ran within the JAMS software) coded to automate regularly run tasks within you organization to save on human intervention. Saving time and error. This could be something as simple as moving files from one location to another, or running reports collected from multiple sources of data.
If you can code it, then you can get a JAMS job to do it.

### Comment 2

A JAMS job is a definition for a task to be performed. It can be triggered by the appearance of a file at a certain location, an email receipt, a date/time schedule, a recurring schedule, the completion of another job, and other events.
