# What factors you consider important for choosing a software provider?

Ask the vendor for a fully-featured trial subscription to the software for 90 days.  Evaluate features, functions, and ease of use from the end users' viewpoint.

Is the price tag reasonable in relation to competitive products?

Search for blog postings specific to the product being evaluated.

Ask for a client contact who has extensively used the product for several years and who will candidly discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the vendor's support people and the product.
