I like the virtual ones.  More content and less celebrities works, unless the celebrity is definitely relevant to the topic of the conference.  I don't need to see the top TV star or music star in my Marketing Conference, I'd rather hear from an expert in the field.  Unless a conference has a lot of experts in a particular platform or technology partners that I would want to talk to in person I would rather go  virtually.  It's a lot cheaper and you can consume the content on your own time.

That totally makes sense! I feel with virtual events, it also helps you manage your work from home balance as well. You can stand up, get coffee, take your dog out, etc. In person events are great to meet colleagues and peers, but they definitely take up your entire day!

<p>I'm excited for Social Media Day Halifax for some personal learning, and I'll be attending and exhibiting at HITEC (Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference) in Toronto with my company.</p>
