DNS Protection automatically blocks any outbound internet traffic requests to highly suspicious internet destinations, such as spam relays, botnets, command and control servers, anonymizers, and other types of malware and cybercrime sites. By doing so, DNS Protection provides network security that blocks malicious communications and reduces threats by up to 88%. DNS Protection also allows administrators to create tamperproof internet usage policies by device, user group, site or IP address to block or limit access to websites that are considered an HR or productivity risk to their business, such as adult or gambling sites, or time-wasters like streaming video sources.
