When Lotame was founded in 2006 as the first DMP, the name meant Locate, Target, Message. The original use case of the DMP was very advertising-driven, allowing customers to target their advertising messages to their ideal audience. While the use cases have advanced, this original functionality still exists, and we still work with many clients to allow them to understand their best customers and send targeted messaging to them for maximum engagement.
