Basic Plan includes customised online store with inventory reports, product analytics and finance reports but not enough for stores with high volume and traffic on product catalogs.

According to me, In Shopify basic plan you can customize your store and for that you get layouts. You can create blogs to rank for Seo. Even you can use  Shopify on mobile too for managing your store.
