# What does implementation look like when switching to PestPac, and how long does it typically take to get fully up and running?

We've had bad experiences with software implementations that dragged on for months. Before making a switch, I want a realistic picture of what the PestPac onboarding process looks like and how long it takes to be fully operational.

A drawn-out implementation usually comes down to two things: no clear owner on the vendor side, and training that arrives as a documentation dump instead of structured sessions. It's worth pressing any vendor on both points.
With PestPac, a dedicated implementation specialist is assigned within 24 hours of signing. That's one person who owns your onboarding from kickoff to go-live. For small and mid-sized companies, the standard timeline is 4 to 6 weeks to be fully operational. Larger enterprise migrations take longer depending on complexity, and that scope gets defined upfront rather than discovered midway.
Training happens through weekly live Zoom sessions, which are recorded so your team can revisit them, plus WorkWave University, a free self-paced training library your staff can use on their own schedule, including for new hires long after go-live. After launch there's a hypercare period with elevated support while your team gets comfortable, then ongoing support Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm EST.
If you've been burned before, ask us the hard questions: what week one looks like, who you'll be working with, what happens if something slips. We're happy to lay out a realistic timeline for your company's size and setup.
