HiveMQ supports multiple deployment options depending on your operational and compliance requirements. 1) HiveMQ Cloud, which is a fully managed solution, operates and maintains your MQTT clusters as a managed service on leading hyperscalers such as AWS and Azure, with enterprise options that can be deployed on AWS, Azure, or GCP depending on your plan. 2) HiveMQ is also available as a self-managed solution on any infrastructure. This deployment can run HiveMQ in your own environment: on-premises data centers, private cloud, or public clouds such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as common virtualization platforms (for example VMware, Nutanix) and bare-metal servers. 3) HiveMQ can be deployed on containerized deployments too. You can use Docker for fast local development and Kubernetes (including EKS, AKS, GKE and other distributions) for scalable, production-grade clusters. 4) You can also install HiveMQ directly on a server or laptop for development, PoCs, and lab environments. This flexibility allows teams to start quickly and grow from small pilots to mission-critical, large-scale industrial deployments without changing MQTT latforms.
