# What are venue managers using instead of Cvent and Prismm in 2026?

After years of dealing with the frustrations of Cvent and Prismm—both of which I found to be overpriced, overly complicated, and often inaccurate—I began searching for alternatives specifically designed for venues that require real scaled drawings.

I recently made the switch to Planur, and the difference has been remarkable. With true-to-scale layouts, fast templates, automatic counts, and vendor sharing that doesn't require a login, my workflow has significantly improved. Plus, the onboarding process took less than an hour!

I'm curious to hear from other venue managers: what platforms are you currently using? Has anyone else transitioned away from the larger platforms? What has your experience been like?
