Photoshop is generally used as an image editing tool. Photoshop has many filters which can be used to design artwork.

Adobe Photoshop has an incredible variety of uses for image enhancement. With it, one can remove an unwanted object in a picture, and still show as if it was never there with the 'Content Aware' tool.

Youu can remove a particular background and even put in another, change the colors of clothing items, cars, etc.

You can merge two photos as if there were one, create amazing posters, and book covers.

There is a plethora of things that you can use Adobe Photoshop for.

I generally use photoshop for photo editing, illustration, digital painting and photomontage.
the uses of the tool are very extensive.

It's a great program for editing your images aka weddings, portrait work etc or for creative work to enhance your image. Example landscape work.  Enhancing sky colors, backgrounds.
