Benefits: 1. Texts have very high read rate, which means they are often seen and acted on. 2. Textmagic offers many useful features to automate your campaigns. 3. Our pricing is straightforward (pay-as-you-go or subscription-based with volume discounts).  4. The Textmagic platform is easy to use.  5. SMS can be used beyond marketing for direct communication with customers, partners, and staff.

Drawbacks:
1. Verification process in North America: You need a verified toll-free or 10DLC number. The verification process is done through the Textmagic platform and takes up to 5 business days. Once your number is approved, you’re good to go without worrying about it again.  

2. You can only text people who’ve explicitly agreed to receive messages from you. This ensures compliance and avoids spam complaints, but it means you need to build a permission-based contact list first.

Improvements: 

1. We are actively working to add more contact channels to our platform. WhatsApp and calls are already available, and Meta integration is coming soon.  

2. We have recently launched a new Chat Widget feature (https://www.textmagic.com/chat-widget/) that allows you to capture incoming messages directly from your website. 

3. If you already have a communication platform (CPaaS provider), you can connect it to Textmagic to benefit from all our features while keeping your provider's rates and numbers.
