It is simple and almost straight forwrd to use. Some features will require you to Google how to use them. Othewise, beginners can figure out most stuff you want to do.

Well photoshop can be used for basic things like photo editing, photo enhancements, filtering, website designing and much more and some advance stuffs like image manipulation, pdf creation, layering, image retouching, etc.
