# What are some ways to get around the rigidity of content design in platforms like Canva?

There are applications that are simply not possible in a platform like Canva, compared to someone going into Adobe and building from scratch. What are some ways around this? Do you think using multiple platforms is wise, or should Canva be used as a backup tool in an effort to actually learn graphic design?

Adjust the opacity of elements to achieve the desired level of transparency, and arrange elements in layers to control their positioning within your design.

I think platforms like Canva were launched to tackle weaker points of software like Adobe. Canva focuses more on templates, as I'm sure you know, so it's almost like an apples and oranges kind of thing. I think multiple platforms is the way to go to get more refined editing done.
