We manage tasks, collaborate through discussions, store project documentation, and keep all important communication in one place. We use the Tracked Kanban extension for our development workflow, while the Recent/Ping section helps us with quick personal conversations without switching to another chat application. One of the features we appreciate most is the flexibility in sharing information. Whether it's project files, discussion threads, or documents, we can choose to share them with the entire team, specific teammates, or clients. This is especially useful when handling confidential resources such as environment files, project requirement documents, deployment guides, or internal documentation, while still sharing release notes, progress updates, and announcements with clients through dedicated threads. We also use the MCP integration with Cursor, which lets us work with project tasks directly from our development environment. Overall, Basecamp has become the hub for our team's daily collaboration, documentation, communication, and project tracking.
