# How Can I Map A New Visibility Setting To Every Deal/Person/Organization Currently Existing In The System?

Note: Admin rights are required to perform certain actions listed in this article. 

You can update all existing data (deals/people/organizations) with a visibility setting under Settings > Users & Permissions. Once you’re there, select a default visibility to the type of record you're trying to map onto. You'll then be given a prompt, asking if you'd like the system to map this visibility setting on to every record in the system. You can select ok or cancel.

Selecting ok will map the new visibility setting to every record.

Selecting cancel will just set your new default setting for all future records, but NOT map that visibility setting onto any of your records.
