# Using logic based on source link- offine

Hi all! 
I'm doing a pretty complex community engagement project, and part of it is a survey , which will be promoted on its own, but also as part of some community workshops and events. In the events, I need some of the questions from the survey to be skipped, as they are less relevant/ covered by other workshop activities.

So far, I've done that by setting up a hidden question, that gets answered if we use the link for events (which has some url variable tags attached) and stays unanswered if we use the standard link  (which doesn't). Then the relevant questions are set up with logic to only show up if the hidden question is unanswered. 

The problem is: there is no guarantee that there will be working internet at the events, and the offline version doesn't do url tags. Is there anything I can do to get this to work in the offline version as well? (The only solutions I thought of so far are: tell the field researchers/ volunteers which questions to skip, or create a copy of the survey, delete the irrelevant questions, and re-aggregate the whole thing by hand in Excel, pasting column to column. None of which are particularly elegant).
