# Using IPRoyal for web crawling: how do you balance price, quality, and low delays?

I found IPRoyal reasonably priced, with excellent agent quality and a low delay rate, which made it friendly for web crawling, data collection, and test development. The main thing I still want is more discount codes. For others using it in similar workflows, what performance or reliability factors matter most to you, and have you found any ways to keep costs down?

To balance all three, I highly recommend a hybrid approach. Use IPRoyal's cheaper datacenter proxies for scraping basic, unprotected pages to keep your costs down. Then, reserve their premium residential proxies strictly for complex or heavily anti-bot-protected targets where high quality and success rates are absolutely necessary.
