# Tip Tuesday - Compare Tool

Hey Icons! Welcome to our first Tip Tuesday, where I'll be posting some tips/tricks related to G2, the Icon Community, and more. In the market for new software? Did you know that our compare tool can help? With our compare tool, G2 helps you select the right software & services to fit your business. All you have to do is select your current product, and we’ll provide you with top alternatives. From there, you can select your top choices to see side-by-side feature comparisons. Check out the compare tool here https://www.g2.com/compare And keep an eye out for a virtual event we'll be hosting next month - our Director of Product will hop on for a live demo of these tools, share best practices, and answer questions you have.

This is very neat! Question though - I'm a bit confused by the text at the top of the page. It comes across to me like we're supposed to select our product on that page, but typing one product into the comparison produces a whoopsie page (likely because I only selected one product). If my product isn't trending, am I supposed to use the categories or search normally?

Hi Angi! Can you walk me through which products you were trying to compare on the page?

Good tip Stephanie ✅

Please do check the url to the compare tool.
The " ) " is part of the url and as such, now serves a "whoopsiedoodles" 😉
