# There is no other IDE for windows that can compete this IDE prove me wrong?

It has everything that a developer needs to script / code its application/game. It has the shortcut for commenting and many more other features like multiline editing and refactor rename a variable.

It really depends on what programming languages and frameworks you are using, Visual Studio may not necessary be the best IDE for that purpose.

There is the Free pascal IDE named Lazarus.

Free Pascal is easier to work with (the language is simpler than C) but C (Visual Studio) has very good speed.
Pascal Speed is approximately 80% of the C speed.
