&lt;p&gt;Dear Icons&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;color: rgb(85, 85, 85);&quot;&gt;Can you imagine being told in your mid-thirties that, despite your age, your kidneys are reflecting the wear and tear of someone twice, or even thrice your age? And the prognosis? An alarmingly elevated mortality rate &lt;/span&gt;and a 20-40% chance of progressing to end-stage renal disease by the time you&#39;re 50-60 years old — a condition which would require dialysis or a kidney transplant.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This is the reality for a man who&#39;s very close to my heart.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now, what&#39;s IGA nephropathy? Often referred to as Berger&#39;s disease, it&#39;s a medical anomaly where the immune system paradoxically turns against itself creating big clumps of cells that block the kidneys. In simpler terms, every time this person catches a cold, it&#39;s not just the typical symptoms that bog him down. His immune system inadvertently damages his kidneys.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;No one really knows what causes IGA nephropathy, but it&#39;s the most common type of glomerulonephritis around the world, so more research into causes, treatments, and cures is desperately needed.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I’m thrilled to be part of this initiative from G2 because it offers a unique opportunity for me to raise funds to help IGA sufferers around the world without me having to beg people for money!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So here&#39;s my humble request: If you&#39;ve ever benefited from a piece of software, how about penning down a quick review?
