# Can I move automations from one machine to another?

Yes, just click on &quot;deregister machine&quot; on the equipment that made the previous installation. If you no longer have access to the machine, enter the CP https://www.winautomation.com/userarea and click on Unassign License, there you can also download the installer of your winautomation versions. If you want to move the robots, you can export and import 1 by 1 or copy the file robots.dat or Processes.dat into the folder my documents&gt; winatomation.  I usually keep daily backups of this file since I corrupted one and lost weeks of source code.
