# Can I move automations from one machine to another?

Yes, just click on "deregister machine" on the equipment that made the previous installation. If you no longer have access to the machine, enter the CP https://www.winautomation.com/userarea and click on Unassign License, there you can also download the installer of your winautomation versions. If you want to move the robots, you can export and import 1 by 1 or copy the file robots.dat or Processes.dat into the folder my documents> winatomation.  I usually keep daily backups of this file since I corrupted one and lost weeks of source code.
