# Tax990: How do you track or estimate total costs while filing?

Tax990 felt inexpensive, and the guided data entry plus help sessions made filing the 990-EZ take less time than expected. One challenge was that the software would be more helpful if it showed the cost of using it more clearly. It also seemed approachable for someone who wasn't an expert in accounting and tax returns, and I was able to get up to speed quickly. How do you handle cost visibility or budgeting when using Tax990?
