# T-Mobile Starlink Satellite cellphone service

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">What do you think of the very recent announcement from T-Mobile about the collaboration with Starlink and how they are essentially about to disrupt the cellphone/cell carrier industry with this new approach? Do you think it's going to work? Do you see any challenges ahead for them? Would you try it and or rely on it personally?</p>

&lt;p&gt;Hi Fedor,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This is great for AT&amp;amp;T and Verizon customers who get to try the service firstly.  I&#39;m in the UK, so will have to wait.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It sounds great, but whether the service will deliver or not, remains to be seen.  At the start I&#39;m sure the service will be wonderful, but I&#39;m wondering, if and when billions of users start to use it, will the service depreciate?  If that happens, will it just become like any other carrier&#39;s mobile provision?&lt;/p&gt;
