# Sometimes, Sync in difference device make some of the file deleted accidently.

Sometimes, Sync in difference device makes some of the files deleted accidentally. And I found it after a few months and I can't find it in the recycle bin. Any recover method?

Deleted files can be recover within 30 days or more depand upon your setup.Please get it update software in all devices properly.Please on Autosave option in office 2016 file so that you cannot lost your save data.
In case you did not find file in recycle bin please raise a ticket to Microsoft for this they will surely help you if file avaible on server.Also ask your system administrator to setup rycycle bin policy for one drive.

when saving files make sure your file is closed before syncing up. open files may not sync fully.

Please go to your recycle bin in onedrive(web), you have around 30 days to recover the file, in some cases up til max 90 days, depends on your setup

You can always restore accidentally deleted files from recycle bin.

There will be a chance of having same file name, so when it try to get sync either existing file or new one will be removes by default
