# Some of org are looking to integrate latest java or .net screens with CICS can we do that?

Integrate CICS screens to transfer data and receive from Java or .net screens

Yes, you can expose an existing CICS program as an API service (typically a RESTful API using JSON payloads). You can do this using CICS web services, or write a Java JAX-RS application that links to the CICS program or access VSAM/Db2/IMS data directly, or use another product like z/OS Connect EE.
